Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related engineering field, or have equivalent experience. They require at least 6+ years of experience in the development, configuration, and implementation of tier 1 Human Resources software or information technology systems, with 3+ years as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect. Demonstrated experience in enterprise software application development, integrations, and architecture, including hands-on experience with Workday HCM, is essential. Experience in implementing Workday upgrades, cloud-based solutions, and providing consultation on HR AI and talent strategies is also needed. Sound knowledge of business processes, system integrations, and information security is required, along with strong interpersonal, planning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

As a Workday HCM Architect, the individual will optimize Workday’s skills-based talent management solutions, including Skills Cloud, Talent Marketplace, and Career Hub, to drive strategic workforce planning. They will leverage Workday’s AI capabilities to improve recruiting, hiring, career pathing, and succession planning, while also implementing solutions utilizing Generative AI capabilities like Workday Everywhere, Agentic AI, and Succession Agent. The role involves conducting research, staying updated on advancements within Workday, and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. They will partner with business stakeholders, IT staff, and consultants to define and deliver HR technology solutions, and contribute to the development of HR AI and talent strategies.
