About the Role

The Workday Engagement Manager (Continuous Value Services) is a leader, project manager, and mentor who thrives on client, company, and team accomplishment. This person will be hands-on with the development of key project deliverables such as: charter, project/staffing plans, issue logs, etc. while driving client engagement. Any budget or resourcing constraints will be communicated and addressed, keeping in mind the project’s success and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in Cynergy Implementation Methodology and use it on all Continuous Value Services engagements.
- Demonstrate competency in the Workday product suite - HCM, Payroll, and/or Financials.
- Manage 20 small to medium Continuous Value Services engagements.
- Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed.
- Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate non-resolved issues.
- Communicate issues and account status.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Principal Consultants working on CVS engagements.
- Work with the client project manager and/or sponsor to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or time frames.
- Ensure project tasks are delivered within the budget outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and according to the agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Present clients with change orders in the event Cognizant is being asked to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Previous Workday experience strongly preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning.
- A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll.
- PMP a plus
- Very organized individual with the ability to work in a highly deadline-driven environment with strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, initiative, and self-motivation to identify and execute tasks.
- Ability to work closely with remote project teams with varying work styles and work schedules.
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote)
Salary and Other Compensation
- Applications will be accepted until 11/2/2025.
- The annual salary for this position is between $102,904 - $154,837 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
