Requirements

Candidates should possess over 15 years of progressive experience in media strategy, planning, and buying across both digital and traditional channels. A proven track record of leading global media strategies and managing large budgets for high-growth consumer brands, preferably in technology, health, or lifestyle sectors, is essential. Experience with global, fast-scaling, multi-channel go-to-market brands is preferred, as is expertise in balancing direct-response performance marketing with brand-building investments. The role requires experience overseeing and managing global media agencies, strong analytical skills with fluency in CAC, ROAS, attribution, and media measurement methodologies, and excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

The VP of Media will lead all global media strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across consumer, retail, and B2B audiences, owning the media mix across digital, offline, and emerging channels. This includes defining media objectives aligned with performance and brand goals, developing strategies across diverse channels and geographies for owned channels, retailers, B2B, partners, and affiliates, and ensuring alignment with business priorities. The role involves leading the development of an optimal global media mix, overseeing cross-market media planning, driving innovation in media buying, and owning customer acquisition cost optimization. Responsibilities also include establishing clear KPIs, partnering with analytics and growth teams, overseeing the global media agency, fostering collaboration between agencies and internal stakeholders, negotiating media deals, and building/mentoring a high-performing media function. The VP will collaborate with marketing, creative, retail, and DTC teams to ensure integrated campaigns and represent media strategy to executive leadership.
