Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in the Home, Family, and Baby (HFB) retail industry, with a preference for CPG or retailer leadership experience. They should have outstanding writing and presentation skills, a demonstrated understanding of data analytics for driving brand building and marketing, and a proven track record of building senior client engagement. A Bachelor's or Master's degree is required, along with familiarity with NIQ solutions or other syndicated data providers, and hands-on experience with database tools and slide/content design. The role requires 25% domestic travel and the ability to be physically located within the US.

Responsibilities

The VP of Thought Leadership will serve as a public representative of NIQ's capabilities in the Home, Family, and Baby sectors, establishing credibility and engagement with CPG manufacturers and retailers. This includes creating forward-looking thought leadership content supported by data analysis, promoting NIQ solutions through industry presentations to cultivate leads, and partnering with sales leaders to achieve sales goals. Responsibilities also involve collaborating with marketing on demand generation campaigns, building a network of NIQ associates in HFB categories, participating in client meetings to provide industry perspective, and playing an active role in developing provocative perspectives on economic changes impacting clients. The VP will build and maintain a strong network of C-suite industry stakeholders, lead discussions with decision-makers, assist in business development efforts, and provide input to HFB-related product development.
