Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. They should have at least 15 years of progressive experience in communications, including at least 8 years in a leadership role, and experience running communications at a technology company is preferred. Strong media relations experience, spokesperson experience and executive presence are required, along with exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills and agency management experience.

Responsibilities

As the VP, Corporate Communications, you will develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with corporate objectives, serving as a key business partner to advise senior leaders. You will oversee all centralized corporate communications programs including media relations, executive communications, and employee communications, outlining company narrative and owning the program to certify all employees on telling the company story. Additionally, you will create and manage internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement, transparency, and alignment, owning strategy and delivery of all employee communications, and manage brand and reputation management by ensuring consistent voice and messaging across all touchpoints. Finally, you will lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing communications team and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.
