Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of experience in government relations, specifically working with civilian agencies such as the Department of Commerce, Department of the Treasury, Department of Energy, or the Department of State, with expertise in defense, security, and intelligence topics, and firsthand insight into executive branch policy, processes, and people. They must also be willing to register as a lobbyist, be a U.S. citizen, and be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance, and be located in the Washington, DC metro area.

Responsibilities

The Director of Government Relations will represent Vannevar to the government by communicating the company’s strategic vision, differentiated technology, and mission impact to senior decision-makers and executive branch leadership, manage Vannevar’s targeted engagement with leaders to achieve growth goals, and partner with the Mission team to support go-to-market strategies by offering government relations perspectives and shaping relationships with officials at the White House and key U.S. federal agencies.
