About This Opportunity

The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping Docebo’s brand voice and reputation, elevating our market presence and internal communication. This role will lead both external and internal communication efforts, with a primary focus (60-70%) on external initiatives and a significant portion (30-40%) on internal engagement. Key areas of responsibility include driving storytelling, public relations, analyst relations, executive thought leadership, and fostering cultural alignment.

This individual will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, particularly the executive team, influencing how Docebo presents itself to the world and its employees. The ideal candidate possesses a builder's mindset, is data-informed, action-oriented, and excels at translating strategy into tangible progress.

Responsibilities

External Communications & Brand Reputation

  • Architect and implement an external communications strategy to amplify Docebo’s leadership in AI-first learning.
  • Own and evolve our core external narrative in collaboration with product marketing and brand teams.
  • Monitor and enhance Docebo’s brand score and external reputation through analyst reports, press coverage, and market perception surveys.

Media Relations & Crisis Management

  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key journalists, editors, and analysts.
  • Lead proactive media outreach to ensure consistent storytelling in top-tier and industry press.
  • Serve as the company’s primary voice during crises, ensuring swift, transparent, and effective issue resolution.

Executive Thought Leadership

  • Develop and elevate the external presence of Docebo executives, including Alessio, Lauren, and Brandon.
  • Identify speaking, podcast, and byline opportunities, managing briefing documents, ghostwriting, and preparation.
  • Partner with social media and brand teams to grow authentic executive influence.

Internal Strategic Communications

  • Communicate the rationale behind significant company shifts, such as our transition to AI-first learning, through clear and strategic messaging.
  • Deliver high-impact communication events, including town halls and major announcements, to drive understanding and alignment.
  • Support change communication strategies in coordination with the People & Culture department.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within B2B SaaS or the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of leading high-impact PR, internal communications, and executive visibility programs.
  • Strong media and analyst network within the tech/SaaS sectors.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and messaging skills; a clear and strategic communicator.
  • Experience managing communication budgets and external partners/agencies.
  • Ability to thrive in high-change, high-growth environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • A visionary communicator with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional writing and storytelling skills, capable of distilling complex information into clear and impactful messages.
