Candidates should have prior experience in sales and/or customer service, ideally in the service industry, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. Sympathetic and open approach to potential customers is essential, along with self-motivation and a goal-oriented work ethic. Fluency in German is required, and prior experience in the energy sector is not necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.
As a Sales Representative, you will identify and approach potential private customers directly at their location, presenting Octopus Energy's electricity and gas tariffs in personal customer conversations. You will build relationships with potential customers and deepen them, taking responsibility for achieving sales targets in your sales area, reporting to sales management, and engaging in cold prospecting. You will also be responsible for providing comprehensive product training to new customers.
