Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and have at least 5 years of experience in technical sales support, preferably within the land management or resource management industry. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in software demonstrations and solution design, are essential. Experience with RFP/RFI responses and proposal development is also required.
The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify customer needs, provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, including presentations and proof-of-concept activities. They will work with clients to understand their business processes and technical requirements, translating these into effective software solutions and customizing software to meet specific needs. The role also involves conducting technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars for customers and partners, addressing functional requirements, and maintaining a customer-facing demo environment. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will prepare technical proposals, develop sales support materials, and assist in RFP/RFI responses, playing an active role in product campaigns and providing ongoing promotion of campaign solutions.
