Requirements

Candidates should possess 2-3 years of relevant work experience and ideally 1-2 years of experience in the demand-side energy industry. They should demonstrate an interest in the energy and/or climate space, along with exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills are required, coupled with a commitment to high-quality work product and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A strong technical background in Excel and programming experience, including Python, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Energy Markets Analyst will understand the role of demand response and distributed energy resources in various energy markets, translating this understanding into messaging for sales and regulatory advocacy. They will become an expert in Voltus’ data architecture and processes, leveraging them to scale energy markets operations. The role involves developing analytical tools to support Sales and Marketing efforts, defining and implementing processes for flawless execution of daily responsibilities, optimizing market commitments, and improving data management. Responsibilities also include managing programs, assisting with asset registration, working across teams to improve portfolio profitability, and supporting regulatory advocacy.
