Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and have over 4 years of experience in technical writing, proofreading, and editing various documents such as white papers, manuals, and instructions. Experience working with government organizations is essential, and an active Secret Clearance is required.
The Technical Writer will develop and maintain a variety of technical documents including user manuals, SOPs, technical specifications, training materials, and system documentation. They will collaborate with engineers, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the clarity and accuracy of technical content. The role involves ensuring all documentation meets relevant government standards and compliance requirements, analyzing complex technical content for diverse audiences, managing document repositories, proofreading and revising documents for quality, staying updated with evolving technologies and government requirements, utilizing technical writing tools, and providing ongoing project support throughout the document lifecycle.
