- Senior (5 to 8 years)
Picogrid envisions a future where every system, from the smallest sensors to next-generation fighter jets, can collaborate autonomously to create a safer and more prosperous world for all. Today, we are at the forefront of American defense technology, developing a unified platform that integrates fragmented technologies—such as sensors, cameras, radar, and drones—into sophisticated mission systems. Our technology is deployed globally, supporting customers including the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, CAL FIRE, PG&E, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and many others.
This role is for someone who loves writing and thrives at the intersection of research, strategy, and storytelling. As a Growth Analyst (Proposals) at Picogrid, you’ll dive deep into our users’ needs and how they connect to critical national security challenges. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our products and translate your insights into compelling proposals, white papers, and presentations that drive business growth. You’ll work closely with customers, founders, and technical stakeholders to identify long-term opportunities and shape capture, pricing, and outreach strategies. Your writing will help secure partnerships, influence decision-makers, and drive the future of autonomous systems in defense.
Picogrid looks for people who are scrappy, ambitious, and thrive in high-intensity environments. We move fast, solve hard problems, and push boundaries in defense technology. Above all, we act with integrity—to our team, our customers, and the mission.
Develops autonomous systems for defense technology
Picogrid develops a unified platform for autonomous systems that integrates various defense technologies, including sensors, drones, and command interfaces. This platform allows for remote control and coordination of these systems, creating a more cohesive defense operation. The company primarily serves military clients, such as the U.S. Army and the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, and generates revenue through federal contracts, including a significant $1 billion contract with the Pentagon and a $950 million contract for its Lander sensor platform. Picogrid differentiates itself by focusing on creating an open ecosystem for defense technology suppliers, which enhances collaboration and efficiency in military operations. The company's goal is to improve defense capabilities while expanding its manufacturing operations, with a new factory set to open in 2025 to support job creation and local economies.
