Candidates should have 2-5 years of industry experience conducting qualitative user research and a demonstrated track record of leading research projects connected to business strategy and key outcomes. Strong storytelling and presentation skills are required, along with proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Figma, Zoom, UserTesting, Maze, Dovetail, Reduct, Qualtrics, and similar platforms. Working knowledge of AI and automation technologies, as well as experience with B2B, fintech, legal tech, or SaaS products, are considered advantageous.
The User Researcher will independently own research for significant features, collaborating cross-functionally to discover problems and deliver user-centered solutions. Responsibilities include conducting generative and evaluative research, identifying research goals and timelines with product managers, designers, and data analysts, and creating compelling presentations to communicate learnings. The role involves developing a deep understanding of user needs in legal tech, acting as the voice of the user, and identifying strategic opportunities that create business value.
