Requirements

  • Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams
  • Understand customers’ businesses and provide technical support/leadership in creating and delivering technology solutions to meet business needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor, creating and maintaining effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge
  • Contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio with technical knowledge and methodologies from customer projects
  • Shape technical direction and strategies within the organization and for external customers
  • Achieve consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal teams) and assist in meeting/exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals
  • Apply developed subject matter expertise to solve common and complex technical problems, recommend alternatives, act as project lead, and provide assistance to lower-level professionals
  • Exercise independent judgment and consult with others to determine best methods for work and objectives
  • Work in a hybrid model averaging 2 days per week from an HPE office

Responsibilities

  • Be a customer advocate within Juniper and single point of contact for all post-sales service needs
  • Stay in alignment with the customer and accounts team on services sales and delivery
  • Help ensure support cases are resolved per SLAs and expedite/escalate critical issues among Juniper technical support teams, providing relevant technical inputs
  • Proactively escalate and bring together people with required expertise to resolve critical and important issues
  • Act as an interlock between Customer and Juniper Professional Services, Advanced Services, and Education Services for service delivery
  • Provide exceptional outcomes and customer experience through forward-looking technical services to optimize network reliability and performance
  • Assist customers in evaluating networks for performance, scalability, and security; provide recommendations on configurations and topologies to improve performance and mitigate risks
  • Partner on short-term projects such as recommending and implementing new Juniper software and hardware features
