Position Overview

PostHog is seeking a driven individual to join our Sales & Customer Success team. We are equipping every developer to build successful products by providing a suite of tools for analysis, testing, observation, and feature deployment. Our open-source platform includes product and web analytics, session replay, feature flags, experiments, a CDP, SQL access, a data warehouse, and LLM observability.

Who We're Looking For

This is not a traditional sales role. We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Technically Proficient: Capable of helping customers and solving real problems without relying on sales engineers. You will be the expert.
  • Insightful: Skilled at identifying and prioritizing inbound customers who match our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Relationship-Oriented: Adept at maintaining long-term customer relationships and driving multi-product adoption as new tools are developed.

Our sales process is 100% inbound, with over 1,000 organizations signing up weekly. We have strong product-market fit and a significant number of self-serving customers. Your challenge will be to focus on the largest opportunities and drive adoption of multiple PostHog tools without forcing usage.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multi-product adoption by understanding customer needs and aligning them with PostHog's evolving suite of tools.
  • Own customer relationships beyond the initial sale, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Focus efforts on inbound leads that align with our ICP to maximize impact.

Location & Timezones

We are a globally distributed, full-remote company. We currently only hire within GMT and GMT+2 timezones to ensure effective team collaboration.
