The candidate should possess over 7 years of experience in channel sales or sales, with a focus on selling with partners. Experience selling SaaS, familiarity with BEPIC and MEDDPICC selling methodologies, and a demonstrated history of goal achievement in high-growth startups are essential. A consultative sales approach aimed at maintaining high customer, partner, and community satisfaction, along with proven experience in developing high-performing channels strategies for SaaS vendors new to the Asia market, is also required. Bonus points are awarded for experience running low-touch deal cycles independently and a demonstrated ability to increase Partner Sourced revenue contribution.
The Strategic Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and evolving the partner go-to-market strategy in the Asia region, including ASEAN, India, Greater China, and Korea. This role involves working closely with sales, solution engineering, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align sales and go-to-market efforts with product, technical, and sales development initiatives. Key tasks include driving partner-sourced revenue growth through Regional Systems Integrators, Value-Added Resellers, and co-selling with Cloud Service Provider partners. The manager will build an emerging partner community, develop partner capabilities, co-sell motions, and brand awareness initiatives, establish strong executive relationships to create partnership business plans, and manage pipeline and revenue commitments. They will also provide input on message alignment, operational coordination, and evangelism of the partner strategy and program.
