Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in a B2B SaaS closing role focused on Fortune 100 and Global 2000 companies, with a preference for experience selling to CIO or AI/innovation leaders at Fortune 500 companies. They must demonstrate consistent performance in meeting and exceeding quotas, possess experience in helping prospects build a business case for executive sponsorship, and have experience with value-based selling. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work with legal, security, and procurement teams, are essential. A thoughtful approach to making sales repeatable is also required.
The Strategic Account Executive will develop and maintain a deep understanding of the generative AI space, become an expert in its use cases for business transformation, and help customers contextualize the benefits of Writer’s full-stack approach. They will qualify inbound leads, generate pipeline through outbound efforts, demo to stakeholders, and guide prospects through POCs and pilots. The role involves leading champions through internal processes and collaborating with colleagues to refine strategies for serving strategic customers.
