Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 10 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Engineering Leadership within the software industry, with a proven history of managing complex, cross-functional software development programs. A strong technical background, deep understanding of software systems and architectures, and extensive expertise in agile and scrum methodologies are essential, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Experience managing risks and dependencies effectively is also required. Bonus qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, experience with large distributed systems or cloud platforms, program/project management certifications, and experience leading initiatives with significant ambiguity. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

The Staff Technical Program Manager will lead large-scale, complex software programs from inception to completion, defining scope and success criteria. This role involves driving technical strategy, improving agile and scrum practices, and fostering collaboration among engineering, product, UX, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical and program risks, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all parties, and mentoring engineering and product teams. The TPM will also use data and metrics to track progress, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
