Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses at least 7 years of experience in hardware engineering program management, with a strong technical background and a proven track record of successfully shipping products throughout their entire lifecycle. Experience working with Asian design and manufacturing partners, including travel for NPI builds, is required. Proficiency in project management software like Confluence/JIRA and Google Workspace is essential, along with excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and data analytics skills. Experience with medical devices or regulated products is a plus.

Responsibilities

This role involves managing and communicating project definitions, development milestones, schedules, validation processes, and project status for new hardware products. The Engineering Program Manager will drive process improvements and best practices, oversee program schedules and NPI build phase gates, and ensure mitigation strategies are in place for high-risk areas. Responsibilities include mediating between hardware teams and other departments, collaborating with Engineering, PLM, Operations, and Product, and driving program management hygiene through meeting cadences and issue tracking. The role also requires creating executive presentations, traveling to support manufacturing builds, and establishing factory engagement best practices.
