Position Overview

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for the technical and solutions aspects of an enterprise, B2B sales cycle. You will partner closely with the enterprise sales team, product teams, success management, and professional services on these pursuits. You will support a handful of account executives across multiple product lines.


How You Will Contribute

  • Revenue Generation: Spend 70% of your time working on revenue-generating deals, with 30% dedicated to learning.
  • Sales Support: Assist sales with the discovery process to identify quantifiable problems our solutions can solve.
  • Demonstration & Solutioning: Demonstrate, workshop, and provide solutions on how our products/platform can help prospects/customers achieve their desired business outcomes.
  • Validation Events: Lead the scoping and execution of validation events.
  • RFI/RFP/RFQ Response: Take the lead on technical responses associated with RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • System Updates: Regularly update systems of record (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint) with presales notes and collateral.
  • Content Contribution: Contribute best practices and content/collateral to broader presales and sales teams.
  • Service Presentation: Present professional services and success management offerings as part of a comprehensive solution.
  • Demo/Pitch Certification: Participate in regular demo/pitch certifications.
  • Travel: Travel as needed for internal and external meetings.

What You Will Bring

  • Product Knowledge: Across multiple product lines.
  • Demonstration Skills: Software demonstration skills aligned with industry best practices.
  • Domain Knowledge: Compliance and IT.
  • Business Process Understanding: Knowledge and ability to present/demonstrate business processes/workflows associated with compliance (capture/archive/surveillance) use-cases.
  • Industry Knowledge: Financial Services and other highly regulated industries.
  • Sales Methodologies: Solution Selling, Demo2Win, and MEDDIC/MEDDPICC experience.
  • Strategic Thinking: Validation event (POV) scoping/execution.
  • Technical Familiarity: AI and LLM familiarity.
  • Experience: 5+ years of enterprise SaaS experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The provided salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

You may be eligible to receive Incentive Pay based on a percentage of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), if any. The methods for calculating this Incentive Pay will be provided in separate individual communication. In addition, Smarsh offers Accelerators and Kickers for Incentive Pay based on achieving established quotas.

The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty, and training. Local cost of living assessments are done for each new hire at the time of offer.
