Expertise in network infrastructure including Routing, Switching, SDWAN, and WiFi
Solid foundation in IT infrastructure and end-user support
Strong ability to triage and troubleshoot Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and WiFi
Strong WiFi skillset to understand, tune, and optimize WiFi networks
Experience with industrial Wi-Fi including coverage analysis, interference mitigation, and seamless roaming
Skills in cable management for IDF and MDF to maintain neat, professional, and serviceable conditions
Ability to perform basic switch/port configuration, tracing, and VLAN segmentation
Capability to act as remote hands for L2 NOC and L3 Network teams during troubleshooting and maintenance
Experience providing onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, servers, and handheld devices
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – Blue Yonder and related inventory/order applications for Level-1 triage
Proficiency in using ServiceNow for Incident, request, change, and problem management
Understanding of Android and iOS mobile devices across clubs and distribution centers
Ability to deploy and support mobile devices
Responsibilities
Support overall connectivity at the Perishable Distribution Center (80% Network Engineering)
Work with L2 NOC and L3 Network teams for network infrastructure support including device reboots (switch, router, firewall, access points), cable replacements, hardware replacements, installations, and others
Triage and troubleshoot Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and WiFi
Assist with network and infrastructure support including device reboots, cable replacements, basic switch/port configuration, VLAN segmentation, hardware repair, refresh, and installations
Act as remote hands for L2 NOC and L3 Network teams during troubleshooting and maintenance
Perform industrial Wi-Fi coverage analysis, interference mitigation, and seamless roaming
Manage cables in IDF and MDF to keep them neat, professional, and serviceable
Perform basic switch/port configuration, tracing, and VLAN segmentation
Work with IT vendors for onsite support as required
Provide onsite support for validation of connectivity during IT change and maintenance windows (20% IT Generalist Support)
Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, servers, and handheld devices
Support existing BJ’s locations within the territory, including new club openings
Collaborate with corporate IT and third-party vendors to resolve complex technical issues
Train club personnel on proper use and maintenance of supported technology
Maintain accurate documentation of all technical work and ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols
Perform Level-1 WMS triage for Blue Yonder and related inventory/order applications, collaborating with infrastructure and WMS teams
Use ServiceNow for Incident, request, change, and problem management
Coordinate with vendors for service visits and warranty repairs
