Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience designing and supporting Wireless Network Technologies, preferably with Aruba, and deep experience with HP Aruba wireless technology, including implementing 802.1x, Airwave, and ClearPass. Experience with SD-WAN technologies, deployment, and optimization is a plus, as is knowledge of 4G/LTE and CBRS. Experience with network performance monitoring, setting up high availability data center environments, and working with networking technologies and topologies (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) is also required.

Responsibilities

The Principal Network Engineer – Wireless will review, design, and support wireless network infrastructure (WLAN), WLAN firewalls, and cabling, collaborating with other IT functions to design and support WLAN systems for internal needs. They will research new technologies, manage projects from scoping to deployment, troubleshoot system outages, resolve technical issues, and provide Tier 3 on-call support coverage for customers. Additionally, they will create manuals and support documentation, and occasionally interact with customers for implementation activities.
