Sr. Sales Manager

Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Fully Remote (Indianapolis, IN employees welcome at HQ) Salary: Base salary with annual on target earnings of $210,000 - $250,000. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.

Position Overview

Bloomerang is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives in driving net new business. This role is crucial for the sales organization, providing deal coaching, mentorship, and leadership to ensure Account Executives achieve success and exceed quotas. The Sr. Sales Manager will empower AEs to act as CEOs of their own business and execute effective territory plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing sales team to surpass revenue targets and maximize market share.
  • Coach Account Executives to maintain deal engagement within a 30-60 day sales cycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within deals to overcome obstacles and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Foster an environment of self-development and accountability within the team.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by leveraging analytics to inform decisions, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven Sales Strategy and Execution: Demonstrated ability to lead a team with a collaborative, team-centric approach to winning. Experience implementing comprehensive sales processes aligned with growth objectives.
  • Hands-On Leadership: History of managing a sales team in a high-velocity sales model. Active participation in sales calls and strategy sessions, with expertise in guiding Account Executives.
  • Sales Operations: Proficiency in using Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales tools for tracking activities, forecasting revenue, and driving performance.
