Position Overview:

An opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional in the Laboratory Products area of Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting Laboratory Equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned territory revenue goals through purposefully pursuing sales opportunities with current and potential customers.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline and proactively develop strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate and train our channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities.
  • Seek and promote new business potential through offering Thermo Fisher Scientific’s broad product portfolio and engage all appropriate colleagues to achieve maximum results for the company in total.
  • Participate in assigned corporate and focus account initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably within Life Sciences, STEM or Business.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of highly successful laboratory sales experience, required.
    • 5+ years of laboratory sales experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge: Must have an outstanding understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse laboratory product applications.
  • Skills & Abilities:

  • Travel: Required travel ~75% of the time.
