Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required, along with over 5 years of experience supporting or using enterprise-class infrastructure. Proven experience with implementing enterprise-level network management or application performance products is necessary, as is a thorough understanding of IT infrastructure, application, and enterprise infrastructure best practices. Exceptional troubleshooting, customer-handling skills, and excellent written and verbal communication are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Consultant will serve as the primary technical interface and onsite subject matter expert for the ScienceLogic product line, providing onsite consulting services and support focused on quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include performing hands-on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of ScienceLogic appliances, working closely with customer technical and management staff, and acting as an internal customer advocate for problem resolution and future product direction. The role also involves documenting all activity, creating knowledgebase articles, adhering to best practices, participating in departmental projects, and providing leadership to customers regarding the ScienceLogic product suite. Additionally, the consultant will support and provide consulting services related to federal or commercial IT standards, such as ATO processes, security audits, and change management procedures.
