8+ years of experience in investment operations, middle office, or asset management
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in reporting or data transformation projects
Hands-on expertise in CORIC (Equisoft) and Kurtosys platforms
Strong understanding of IBOR reporting, workflow controls, and data governance
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
For internal partners: 3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level; 24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant; prior 36 months of people management experience for movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager
Responsibilities
Lead the creation of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications for reporting and data transformation initiatives
Conduct detailed gap analysis, data mapping, and workflow assessments to support platform migrations and enhancements
Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements for development and configuration teams
Serve as the primary SME for CORIC, with deep understanding of layouts, data blocks, and reporting logic
Drive the migration from CORIC to Kurtosys, including designing and configuring workflows, supporting data visualization and reporting logic, and ensuring data integrity and alignment across platforms
Provide ongoing support for monthly and quarterly reporting cycles on both platforms
Develop and deliver training sessions for team members on CORIC reporting structures and logic, business analysis best practices, and Kurtosys configuration and reporting workflows
Create reusable documentation, templates, and knowledge assets to build team capability
Proactively identify missing or insufficient data points required for successful Kurtosys migration
Collaborate with internal Northern Trust data teams to ensure required data fields are available in Snowflake or other relevant databases
Draft and validate requirements for new data views or tables to support reporting needs
Represent Northern Trust in vendor calls, articulating business requirements clearly and driving issues to closure independently
Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., NA BAs, data teams) to align on requirements, timelines, and deliverables
Participate in client onboarding and new instance testing, ensuring readiness and quality
