Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT Asset Management is required, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. Proven experience with ServiceNow HAM/SAM best practices and implementation is essential, along with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform. Preferred certifications include ServiceNow HAM/SAM, CSAM, CHAMP, or ITIL v3/v4. Demonstrated success in selling ITAM services to enterprise customers and a deep understanding of ITSM, ITAM processes, demand planning, procurement, logistics, and S2P in global environments are necessary. Experience with software audit defense, vendor contract negotiation, and IT governance is also required.
The Solutions Director will develop and execute a comprehensive ITAM strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance. They will lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow HAM and SAM processes for full lifecycle visibility and license optimization. Responsibilities include aligning ITAM strategies with ITSM processes, providing leadership in vendor governance and sourcing, and driving business development by pitching ITAM services to clients. The role involves overseeing global asset sourcing, acquisition, deployment, and recovery, managing supplier performance and risk, and ensuring robust IT logistics execution across international regions. Defining and enforcing asset policies, leveraging automation and analytics tools, and supporting ESG initiatives are also key duties. The Director will implement controls to mitigate risk, lead audit response efforts, and maintain accurate asset records. Building and mentoring a high-performing ITAM delivery team, defining KPIs and SLAs, and serving as a strategic advisor to senior leaders are also integral to the role.
