Requirements

Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant sales engineering experience, a strong technical understanding to drive selling strategies with prospective customers, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an engaging persona with the ability to build relationships with business and technical contacts. A successful track record of partnering with internal and external product and engineering teams and creative problem-solving abilities are also required. Previous startup experience and experience working at an API company or on an external-facing API team are considered nice to have.

Responsibilities

The Solutions Engineer will act as a technical subject-matter expert on all Finch products, supporting the sales team throughout the sales process and deal strategy. They will partner strategically with Account Executives to demonstrate how Finch can address prospect use cases and technical requirements that drive business outcomes. The role also involves identifying innovative solutions, delivering constructive feedback for process improvements, and equipping sales teams with technical sales enablement material to efficiently close deals.
