Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect, preferably within a B2B SaaS or developer tools company. Fluency with software development, proven experience supporting a technical sales process, and excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts are essential. A strong engineering background with familiarity in web technologies, APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and software architecture patterns is required. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver, a fast learner with a builder's mindset, and passionate about helping other developers succeed.
The Solutions Engineer will act as a technical advisor to guide customers on architectural decisions and best practices, develop reusable technical assets like code examples and proof of concepts, and lead the technical evaluation phase by gathering requirements and assessing use cases. Responsibilities include presenting technical demos, leading technical onboarding and implementation planning, collaborating with internal teams to gain deep product knowledge, and providing feedback to Developer Success and Engineering teams. The role also involves designing and articulating technical solutions to business challenges and building strong technical relationships with enterprise customers to ensure integration health and expansion.
