Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Pre-Sales Consultant
  • Ability to quickly understand complex enterprise technology stacks and connect them to Decagon’s platform capabilities
  • Demonstrated success engaging with large organizations and aligning solutions with strategic business outcomes
  • Strong technical proficiency in developing tailored demos, proofs-of-concept, and solution architectures
  • Even Better If You Have
  • 2+ years of direct AI/Generative AI sales engineering experience
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
  • Hands-on experience integrating telephony infrastructure into enterprise systems
  • An engineering background (software engineering, systems engineering, or related) that enables you to dive deeper into technical conversations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to discover, qualify, and design solutions that deliver measurable ROI for enterprise customers
  • Rapidly assess a customer’s technology stack and requirements, translating them into an integration strategy for Decagon’s platform
  • Develop custom demonstrations on the Decagon platform tailored to customer-specific needs and value drivers
  • Establish scalable pre-sales processes, technical playbooks, and reusable assets to support growth
