Requirements

Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to simplify complex technical concepts, and a quick and self-learner attitude, including the capacity to work within ambiguity and take action with limited direction. They must have knowledge of Machine Learning, including understanding the differences between various models like Linear Regression and Boosted Trees, and experience training models using packages such as scikit-learn, HuggingFace, and fastai. Furthermore, candidates are required to have 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as pre-sales, technical account management, or consulting, with experience working with high-enterprise customers. Proficiency in Python and Linux/Unix is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The AI Sales Engineer will build relationships with technical stakeholders, lead product demonstrations of the Arize platform, and lead discovery to understand prospect’s ML stack, collaborating with the Sales team to construct a compelling value proposition. They will handle technical objections and develop strategies across sales, engineering, and product to unblock them, and act as a Domain Expert within AI/ML by writing blog posts about ML and MLOps topics and collaborating to create documentation and enablement materials. Additionally, they will engage in relevant ML communities online to raise awareness on challenges of deploying ML in production.
