Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales)

Candidates should have 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment. They must possess outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric), and hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred, with a Master's in Data Science or Business Administration being a plus. Experience with GSIs is beneficial but not required.
The Solution Engineer will work directly with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, deliver compelling value-based demonstrations, and support enterprise Proof of Concepts. They will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate value, and immerse themselves in the industry to understand competitive and complementary technologies. Additionally, they will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
