Candidates should have experience building core enterprise products/solutions, proficiency with source control (git) and its best practices, strong backend design and development skills in core Java with advanced OO concepts, and experience with distributed systems, service discovery, and RPC. Experience with containerized services in Kubernetes, terraform, cloud skills including AWS services (S3/ECR/lambda/codepipeline/SSM/IAM), and database programming (MySQL a strong plus) are also required. Strong communication skills are essential.
The Software Engineer will define and refine requirements for new and existing features in collaboration with the team and product management. They will design, review, and build implementations using software, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and cloud services to enhance the Archiving product's functionality. Responsibilities include working with other feature teams for clean integration, creating new frameworks, cloud service integrations, and automation, and troubleshooting difficult production problems to ensure high availability for customers across multiple regions. Limited on-call availability during critical deployment activities may be required.
