Requirements
Candidates should possess at least 7 years of experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment, preferably designing and building medium to large-scale on Cloud platforms. They should have experience building web applications with Angular (Typescript), Storybook, and Apache server, as well as developing Lambda services and APIs using Java and Go, Spring Boot, Python, Fargate, and OpenAPI. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have experience utilizing AWS cloud native services and data engineering, demonstrating tenacity to dive into problems and iterate in working code, along with being resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for developing end-to-end systems for Nava’s government partners, modernizing legacy enterprise platforms to improve public-facing processes and user experiences. They will collaborate with government partners and other contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems and improvements, working in an agile manner to efficiently ship new features that meet user needs. This role involves creating tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows, writing and reviewing technical documentation, performing code reviews, participating in an on-call rotation to support production systems, and taking part in hiring activities as needed.
