Requirements

Candidates should possess 6-8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a backend focus, including 4+ years of hands-on Java experience with Spring core/web/boot, Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning. Strong computer science fundamentals and proven experience in designing scalable, distributed systems are required, along with a track record of leading multiple high-impact projects end-to-end and collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ability to write high-quality, testable, maintainable, and secure code is essential.

Responsibilities

Staff Software Engineers will design, build, and scale backend services and APIs, provide technical leadership on system architecture and team best practices, and lead the end-to-end delivery of impactful products. They will collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to develop robust technical solutions, build fault-tolerant distributed systems, and drive the adoption of engineering best practices. Responsibilities also include mentoring engineers, operating services in production with high availability, and contributing to the evolution of the company's service-oriented architecture, REST APIs, message queues, and scalable system design.
