Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 years of experience with Software Development, a successful completion of a coding camp, diploma, or undergraduate degree, experience with developing software applications and unit/functional test practices, experience in end-to-end feature development, and experience building complex systems. Furthermore, experience with HL7 (V2, FHIR) is required, along with experience utilizing Hibernate, Spring, and REST.

Responsibilities

The Production Engineer will analyze and evaluate requirements, proposing high-level design and technical solutions to issues arising from internal and external customer issues. They will analyze solutions to ensure interoperability, performance, and maintainability, working closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to diagnose and correct issues. This role involves collaborating with coredev and client solutions teams to ensure fixes meet technical and architectural requirements, participating in major incident response teams, ensuring relevant documentation is up-to-date, researching technologies, and advising on good technical design and industry trends. The position also includes mentoring Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Desk staff and other developers, breaking down work for team members, proposing new techniques and technologies, and adhering to coding standards and tools used by the team. Finally, the role requires compliance with privacy, security, and confidentiality policies, handling confidential information with trust, and potentially holding an on-call rotation for Tier 2 issue support.
