Requirements

  • BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
  • Detailed and approach focused
  • Experience in developing RESTful services
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming with languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, or PHP
  • Knowledge of database programming, including MongoDB and SQL databases
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and services such as AWS and Azure (plus)
  • Familiarity or experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) server architecture or microservice design for agent/AI integration
  • Curiosity and self-motivation to learn, adapt, and grow with evolving software development practices and AI capabilities
  • Bonus: Experience or interest in agentic systems or LLM integration

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust web service APIs within our data retrieval platform
  • Gather technical requirements from multiple sources to improve existing strategies for visualizing and displaying data
  • Tackle complex business and technical problems involving large-scale data aggregation and processing
  • Collaborate with AI and platform teams to ensure backend services are optimized for consumption by AI agents, operators, and MCP workflows
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI/ML and automation trends and apply when appropriate
