The ideal candidate is fluent in Python and has significant experience with open-source agent frameworks and building complex, production-grade LLM-based agentic systems. A senior mindset, the ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-changing environments, and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with GPU management, low-level systems, or decentralized systems is a plus.
This role involves being a technical driver for the Tavus Conversational Video Interface (CVI) product, focusing on adding agentic capabilities to Replicas. Responsibilities include owning the development and delivery of new agentic systems and features such as RAG, Memories, MCP, and task management. The engineer will shape user interaction with real-time systems by partnering with Research and CVI teams, contribute across the full product stack, and ensure the observability and reliability of these systems.
