Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience in API Platform development and bonus EDI/B2B development, including hands-on experience with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and protocols like AS2, FTP, and SFTP. Experience with backend/platform experience on EDI onboarding using ANSI 12 or X12 EDI messaging for streams including 810, 850, 855, 856, 997, and 820 is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with HTML, CSS, Node.js, and Javascript, with Typescript experience being a plus, is required.

Responsibilities

As an API/EDI Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing API/EDI B2B integrations into the Pipe17 platform to enable customer transactions with retailers and logistics providers. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery of the Pipe17 API/EDI/B2B Roadmap. This includes configuring and customizing EDI mappings, transformations, and workflows, performing testing, troubleshooting, and debugging EDI/B2B processes, providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing integrations, and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
