Candidates should possess at least 3 years of professional programming experience, including experience building modern REST APIs in Node.js, and expertise with Typescript packages. They should have experience designing data structures and querying relational and non-relational database technologies such as Postgresql, Redis, and MongoDB, along with experience using Git version control and AWS Services like S3, Elastic Beanstalk, DynamoDB, and IAM.
The Full Stack Engineer will identify and create solutions to issues independently, participate in brainstorming sessions to design and document features with scalability in mind, build backend API and frontend components and pages using Node JS, Next JS, and SQL, and meet with team members weekly to discuss progress and ideas. They will also interact with different departments to discover and address problems and needs, contribute to thatgamecompany’s culture, and develop applications to support game operation functions.
