Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in business, technology, or finance, along with five years of vendor management experience in strategic sourcing, business operations, program management, or a related field. Experience managing contracts as a software asset management or technology sourcing manager, managing budgets and driving cost reduction programs, and presenting to senior leadership are also required. Preferred qualifications include over 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects with technical and non-technical stakeholders, experience in the technology industry, proven success in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, excellent presentation and communication skills, and familiarity with Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, ITSM tools, and project planning tools.

Responsibilities

The Software Demand Manager will take end-to-end ownership of the budget, including vendor management, quarterly forecasts, identifying savings and risks, and managing new budget requests. This role involves working closely with Legal, Infosec, Privacy, and Third Party Risk Management teams to finalize legal agreements, assessing software compliance and risk exposure, and resolving vendor onboarding and payment issues. The manager will also spearhead business contract discussions and vendor negotiations, evaluate potential projects, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and prioritize budget spending to optimize ROI.
