Candidates should possess nuclear regulatory knowledge and experience, with a strong understanding of U.S. nuclear regulations, including 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52, and NRC Regulatory Guides. They should also have experience preparing and reviewing licensing document content and programs, and the ability to manage and coordinate complex projects with various stakeholders.
The Licensing Manager will apply nuclear regulatory knowledge to support engineering development, interpret and inform Oklo’s design basis to comply with regulations, develop documentation for licensing activities, prepare and review licensing documents, support project management of licensing activities, coordinate with design engineers and the nuclear regulator, prepare and deliver licensing presentations, lead resolution of strategic licensing issues, and translate strategic regulatory decisions into licensing deliverables.
Develops advanced fission power plants
Oklo develops advanced fission power plants that utilize a unique approach to the fission reaction, ensuring safety and enabling the use of nuclear waste as fuel.
