Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing, redlining, and managing commercial contracts
- Experience using a CLM (e.g., Ironclad) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain, procurement or inbound licensing division
- Experience working in multiple international jurisdictions
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of Emerging Technologies, Biotechnology, Privacy and IP law is a must
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively manage workload
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of commercial contracts related to indirect spend
- Review, redline, interpret and negotiate key legal and financial terms of commercial agreements
- Act as a central resource for multiple departments
- Operate with a high level of autonomy and demonstrate strong understanding of commercial contract law and negotiations, and financial implications
- Handle day-to-day operations involving complex and time-sensitive agreements
- Support contract management and related financial process operations based on business needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental and cross-functional processes, guidelines and templates
- Work directly with procurement and legal teams to shepherd requests for agreements
- Serve as a liaison to resolve contract-related issues with business partners, procurement, legal and other stakeholders
- Lead the full contract lifecycle management process
- Maintain strong working knowledge of regulatory and legal issues relevant to commercial contracting
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Legal, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, and Project Management, to facilitate timely execution of contracts
