Responsibilities

Supports and maintains software-as-a-service (SaaS), packaged software, and enterprise-wide applications
Maps business processes to applications to best deliver value and maximize application functionality
Performs configuration, setup, and updates of the application; manages access control
Designs, configures, tests, monitors, and supports a platform or application to deliver business value
Sets up system users through role-based authorization
Builds subject matter knowledge for a domain or capability area or single application; adheres to team/application standards
Contributes to and refines the team’s backlog; partners with teammates and Product Owner to break down work into reasonable sizes with clear value and acceptance criteria
Informs delivery estimates (story points) and prioritization; identifies dependencies and influences the product roadmap
Participates in agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, backlog refinement, planning, review/demo, retrospectives)
Drives collaboration within the team (e.g., pair programming with peer Software Engineers)
Understands application architecture for the squad’s limited area of responsibility
Ensures new features and functions are tested thoroughly; leverages automation for repeatable tasks; troubleshoots and fixes bugs
Monitors and observes health, availability, and performance of software in production; provides application support
Implements new monitoring and proactive alerting mechanisms
Performs other duties as assigned
