Requirements

Candidates must be based in the United States or an equivalent timezone and have 2-4 years of experience in billing, finance operations, or revenue operations, preferably within a software or SaaS company. A strong working knowledge of billing systems like Stripe/Orb, CRMs such as Hubspot/Salesforce, and spreadsheets is required, along with comfort in handling customer billing support and excellent time management and communication skills. Experience with indirect tax, financial audits, SQL or scripting, customer credits, incentives, or collections processes are considered bonus qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Finance & Billing Operations Specialist will manage manual billing processes for enterprise, HIPAA, and custom contracts, and support billing-related tickets by resolving customer issues concerning payments, credits, invoices, and other finance-related requests. This role involves tracking and applying customer credits and incentives, assisting with financial audits and indirect tax compliance, supporting the dunning and collections process to maintain good account standing, and identifying opportunities to streamline and improve workflows through automation or optimization.
