Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in technical support engineering or software engineering roles, with application development experience, ideally in tech startups or fast-paced environments. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field is required. Proficiency in identifying technical pain points in solutions and proven experience in building strong relationships with customers and cross-functionally to drive performance improvements are essential. A humble attitude, eagerness to help others, and the ability to operate with high horsepower while managing multiple projects are also important.
The Senior Support Engineer will serve as the dedicated technical resource and advocate for important API customers, providing deep troubleshooting assistance and educating customers on platform use. They will be among the foremost technical experts for the API platform, acting as the last line of defense before the core Engineering team. The role involves partnering with engineering and customer teams to resolve issues, coordinating resources across multiple teams, and operationalizing solutions at scale. Building strong relationships with customers’ leaders and providing support coverage during holidays and weekends based on business needs will also be key responsibilities.
