Requirements

  • 7-8 years of industry experience, with 3+ years in a pre-sales environment
  • Presentation skills for both technical audiences and executives, including whiteboard impromptu presentations and demos
  • Broad experience with large-scale databases, data warehousing, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics
  • Ability to map customer-specific business challenges to Snowflake solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English

Responsibilities

  • Present Snowflake's technology and vision to prospective customers' executives and IT technical staff
  • Demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology through demos and PoCs throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Stay current in an evolving industry, understand competitors and related technologies/vendors, and position Snowflake effectively
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to contribute to product improvements and marketing activities
  • Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, plan case support based on the sales cycle, provide compelling value-oriented demonstrations, support customer PoCs, and assist in deal closures
