Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems
10 or more years of design, development, and testing of software applications
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (minimum 25 Mbps download x 10 Mbps upload; no satellite or wireless internet)
Dedicated home office space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps
Work on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial
Integrate hardware, software, and network interfaces to form a system
Recommend products that will evolve the organization's technical infrastructure
Provide leadership in developing the organization's technical and architectural staff
Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance
Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, working under minimal supervision
Use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action
