Position Overview

RingCentral is seeking a talented Senior Sales Engineer to join our Partner Sales & Business Development Team. In this role, you will be the technical expert, ensuring our solutions are both technically sound and commercially viable, while building long-term trust with our partners and customers. You will work alongside sales and business development teams to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.

Requirements

  • Industry knowledge in UC, CX / Contact Centre, AI, Language Models, Mobility, and IMS Integration.
  • Comprehensive understanding of API Concepts and developer Portals.
  • In-depth knowledge of RingCentral’s UC & Customer Experience Portfolio, including RingCX OEM partners, is beneficial.
  • Ability to innovate and differentiate RingCentral in the marketplace.
  • Ability to flex communication style for different audiences, including partners, customers, sales, and support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical voice and interface for the Partner Sales & Business Development Team.
  • Drive technical trust, ensure solution-fit, and enable sales success through consultative engagements.
  • Identify new business partners and revenue streams in different regions and market segments.
  • Develop solutions based on the current portfolio and innovate where needed.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of new services and propositions with the Sales Engineering Leadership team, Sales Executives, and RingCentral Product Teams.
  • Monitor and support SE collaborative teams.
  • Manage customer feature requests and documentation for the product team.
  • Perform lab testing and pursue continued education on the platform and underlying technologies.
  • Support related trade shows and events.
  • Coordinate and lead discovery sessions to understand customer business requirements and objectives.
  • Engage in business-led conversations to articulate the benefits of the RingCentral EX/CX Portfolio (e.g., revenue generation, operational efficiency, cost savings).
  • Become a trusted advisor in the Sales and Pre-Sales community, providing world-class operational and technical support.
  • Help create repeatable Sales Support collateral and content (Sales Playbooks, Verticalized Demonstrations, TCO Tools, Promotions, Campaigns).
  • Provide industry, technical, and product insight to partners and customers.
  • Perform innovative and business-led presentations, including technical demonstrations, product overviews, and sales presentations, outlining expected CX and UX.
  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of all RingCentral applications and products.
  • Represent RingCentral at conferences, industry events, and partner events.
