Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a premier consumer finance and/or capital markets organization, with a proven track record of sales and/or direct customer acquisition in the API trading space. Required qualifications include FINRA certifications such as Series 24, Series 7, Series 4, and/or 63/66. Experience working within regulatory compliance constraints to achieve business outcomes is essential, along with demonstrated skills in API trading, including coding and troubleshooting. A deep expertise in capital markets and active trading, including equities, crypto, and options, is also necessary. The ideal candidate is an independent operator with intellectual curiosity and the ability to build client acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager, API will be responsible for directly acquiring and advocating for API traders at Public. This role involves working across all company functions and utilizing all assets to attract, acquire, onboard, and retain traders who use the company's individual API for trading. Key duties include building and maintaining a pipeline of high-potential prospects from various sources and identifying and collaborating with external partners to achieve sales goals. This position offers an uncapped bonus structure based on sales performance.
